Personal Life
Vaibhav Suryavanshi was born in Tajpur, which is in the Samastipur district of Bihar, India. At four, he began playing cricket, and his father, Sanjeev, served as his first coach. This led to a transformation from being a cricket aspirant to the well-known Vaibhav Suryavanshi Cricketer.
Suryavanshi has grown up with limited facilities in his home town. Thus, he had to travel almost 90 km per day to chase his dreams, but thanks to his father, who supported him. Similarly, his mother, Aarti, made efforts. She used to wake up at 2 AM after sleeping for only 3 hours so that she could cook for him. Though limited in means, Suryavanshi’s parents ensured that nothing stopped him from becoming successful.

Debut in IPL
In November 2024, Suryavanshi was picked by the Rajasthan Royals for ₹1.1 crore (approximately US$130,000), becoming the youngest player ever to secure an Indian Premier League contract. He was only 13 at that time.
When Vaibhav Suryavanshi replaced injured captain Sanju Samson for the Rajasthan Royals game against the Lucknow Super Giants, he became the youngest player in IPL as a debutant.
